Today I’m sharing Roxanne and Craig’s beautiful, autumnal engagement shoot. Enjoy!

Roxanne and Craig – Engagement shoot Basingstoke

We did have another photographer and carried out another shoot but we didn’t gel with our first photographer which made us look for another. We met Crissi through my sister after they carried out a shoot together, for a promotion. Crissi and I went for a coffee, we clicked instantly and had a lot of fun discussing our jobs and wedding plans. Craig later joined our coffee in which we had a lovely time looking at previous weddings. Talking with Crissi is like having an old friend take photo’s, she’s easy going and knows the best way to get photos out of people who don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Craig and I have never been very good with taking photos so this shoot was a lot of fun. We had a hard time finding car parking and it was very muddy but walking through the woods with big smiles did get a few stares in our direction.

How beautiful is this engagement shoot?! The orange leaves make for the most beautiful backdrop and I think you’ll all agree how happy and relaxed Roxanne and Craig look. Despite all the turmoil around weddings over the last year, this lovely couple did decide to go ahead with their wedding in October 2020. Their intimate wedding with 10 guests will be feautured on the blog in a couple of weeks so keep an eye out for that!
