Yes, it will be a lot to splurge on this but you can always limit the amount of people who are able to come to your reception in the first place. You don’t want to go flushing money down the drain when you’re going to need it as soon as you start your married life.
Get the Layout Right
Even though it’s a reception, people are still going to want to sit, and places should be provided for this. You need to have banquet tables as well as cocktail tables if necessary.
Look at the spacing and how people can move in between the “furnishings” Keeping things breathable will make everybody comfortable. Once you get all of this done you can party the night away to celebrate your wedding.
