The hill raises above the city, though it’s fairly easy to climb, and offers stunning panoramic views of Edinburgh. Pack up a picnic or enjoy the romance of a sunrise or sunset walk.

I urge anyone to take a trip to Edinburgh once we can travel because it’s a truly beautiful city. However there are still a lot of restrictions in place right now and it’s worth noting that Scotland has a different set of rules to England. So with that in mind a virtual visit to Edinburgh may be better right now. Lots of attractions in and around the city have set up virtual tours including Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh Castle and the National Museum of Scotland. This may be a great way to get a feel for the places you want to visit in the future or if you’re dating virtually right now then these would be some great activities to look into. Enjoy nature

Found on an island where three lochs meet and surrounded by stunning scenary, Eilean Donan Castle has become one of the most visited attractions in the Highlands. You can spend some time looking around the castle and its exhibitions and when you’re done don’t forget to take a moment to admire the beauty of the place. You never know, you might fall in love with Eilian Donan so much that you end up getting married there!
